ART CHAT - Nancy Glines

The next Art Chat session is scheduled for:
Thurs. xxxxx, at 10am

Dear Art Chat Attendees:
In light of the news regarding the Corona virus, I went on the Ocean County Library website and learned that they are cancelling all Library programs and the use of meeting rooms and spaces by outside groups through March 31st. Therefore, the next possible Art Chat will be April 2nd. It's impossible to know when the Library will be back to business as usual but, I'll check the Library's website and keep you posted.

Stay well, enjoy the lovely Spring weather and keep creating. We'll have a lot of new Art and Photography to share when we meet again.

Art Chat was formed for the purpose of sharing a common interest in Art and Photography with anyone who wishes to attend. Participating Artists are asked to bring a painting or photograph to share but, it's not required. The goal is to encourage and share knowledge in a friendly and helpful environment.

Many thanks to the Tuckerton Library for making the Museum room available for our meetings and making us feel very welcome. The only policy that they have requested that we follow is that we do not bring Nude works of Art to our discussions at the Library. Anyone with interest in that subject is encouraged to contact Pine Shores Art Association for information and classes.  Art Chat sessions are twice monthly, on the first and third Thursdays of the month.

For last minute cancellations or changes, please check PSAA's Facebook page or
the for Library closings or other pertinent information.

Hope to see you at Art Chat!

- Nancy Glines

Dear PSAA members,

Hello all. Due to the Coronavirus, all indoor June activities are cancelled and July is still questionable. We are switching the "Spring-ish show" to August and the "Sepia Show" to July on line. Tom Rutledge and Dee Turba are working out plans as I write this. Dee, Tom, and Dennis have been responsible for setting up the on-line shows, which have been very well received. Thank you to them. We'll let you know as soon as we know our building can reopen.

Although we are living through a difficult time, we need to look for positive things. I think
we all have a greater appreciation for the normal and peaceful activities that we take for granted, like visiting friends and relatives, traveling, shopping in a store, celebrating and worshiping, to name just a few. This pandemic and now turbulent time will be in our memories,
but we will get through it stronger and with a greater appreciation for the freedoms and quality of life we enjoy. Please take care of yourselves. I can't wait until I can welcome everyone back to PSAA.

God bless. Linda

Wishing you all the best,
